Imperial State Electric

The band, with Nicke Andersson as its driving force, has toured constantly since the release of last years critically acclaimed "Honk Machine" (August 2015), and the expectations for this autumns release are set sky high.
The limited time period between "Honk Machine" and "All Through The Night" poses the question, and rightly so, how has the band has found time and creativity to record yet another album? Nicke's answer is clear: "We play rock 'n' roll music, if it takes four years to make a rock 'n' roll record then you have most likely over analysed an art form that isn’t meant to be analysed at all. You should feel it and to me, this feels real good."
So, what are the immediate impressions of ”All Through The Night”? At the first listen, it is clear that the band is back with another strong album that takes you on a journey through well-known Imperial State Electric country with sparkling riffs, infectious melodies and simple but refined songwriting. However with each preceding record ISE have enjoyed raising a few eyebrows and expanding into some new territory. This new album is no exception, with the country tinged duet with Linn Segolson - "Break It Down"and the sweeping Spector-like strings of the title track - ”All Through The Night”.
Nicke Anderson and Imperial State Electric have an artistic expression that may seem almost too easy. But believe me (if not me, believe Tom Petty) - what Imperial State Electric do is not an easy thing, many have tried and almost as many have failed. With "All Through The Night” Imperial State Electric proves that they have raised their game another notch. Sure, they subscribe to the school of "less-is-more-greats" like Cheap Trick, The Clash, Tom Petty and The Ramones, but somehow they manage to make this fresh and vital as opposed to retro and overdone. On “All Through The Night", the band is everything and a little more than what you can ask of a rock ‘n’ roll album, whether the year is 1967 - 78 or 2016. "All Through The Night" was recorded in Nicke Andersson's studio The Honk Palace and was mixed by Frans Hägglund (Samling, Last Days of April, The Hives).

Worst

Founded in 2012 by two drummers, Fernando Schaefer and Thiago Monstrinho, the band came to create, in the worst and most politically incorrect manner, a twist in the scene of hardcore music in Brazil.

Acid and polemic lyrics in Portuguese make this hardcore band from São Paulo one of the most hated, but also one of the most loved ones by tho ones who defend the band until the very end.

With 2 albums released by Against Records in Brazil and by To The Point Records in the USA, 8 official videoclips, some of which with over 200 thousand views at the biggest Hardcore channel worldwide, HCWW, they were invited by the latter to participate in Volume 1 of the channel's label's first compilation, being the only Brazilian band to accomplish such feat.

The team, which also includes professional musicians such as Tiago Hospede and Ricardo Brigas, adds:

"WORST ain't no hobby."

In November 2015, WORST will release the long expected 3rd album, with scorching criticism for Brazilian culture entitled "INSTINTO RUIM" ("BAD INSTINCT"), music production by Tiago Hospede. Recently, the band launched a Crowdfunding campaign for the new album just concluded, reaching 128% of the goal set, an amazing success.

With growth figures way above average, the bands consolidates every day more and "Everyday Worse"(Cada Vez Pior), "Wishing All Evil in the World"(Te Desejo Todo Mal do Mundo)to whoever crosses their path.

The Restarts

The Restarts, formed in 1995, are a tight three piece, multi-genre punk outfit based in East London. They play thrashy, anarcho, power chord punk laced with Ska breaks and pogo inducing basslines earning them a loyal following of punk lovers of all ages.
The Restarts have been hammering their way through the squats of Europe and DIY house shows across North America with reckless abandon. They lend amplification to unheard voices, playing benefit gigs for various social causes and keeping the DIY spirit of punk rock alive and well.
Their years of hard graft is recognised by them being requested to play along side such heavy weights as Steve Ignorant’s Crass, Jello Biafra & GSM, MDC, The Casualties, Star Fucking Hipsters and The Subhumans.
After several tours over Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and South Asia and over 9 releases the Restarts have found themselves playing a small part in a large world wide network of DIY Punk Rock. They are punks first, musicians second. They feel the social importance of Punk Rock takes priority over the "marketability" of a rehashed trend.
